SubscriberHi Discovery Support,
Â
The professor use 30 days free trial for Discovery AIM and want to buy.
I can’t find features table in 2020R2, in features table of 2019R3, I see that Research CFD/Mechanical include AIM Pro, but I remember AIM Pro was legacy.
I have two questions, what is different between AIM Pro and Discovery AIM?
Second, can professor buy ANSYS Research CFD/Mechanical and use AIM Pro/Discovery AIM in 2020R2?

Forum ModeratorHello Mathias Wang
As you have correctly mentioned AIM Pro is legacy and does not exist anymore.
Discovery AIM and AIM Pro the application is the same although the licensing package was changed.
To access Discovery AIM, the customer will have to purchase Ansys Discovery Ultimate license. There have been no developments in Discovery AIM after 2020 R1 version.Â
for more information on Features and capabilities, please check the below two links. -
