Safety Activities — Lesson 3

As we know functional safety addresses risks arising from failures rooted in defects and these defects can lead to disruptive failure modes, posing threats to human safety. We need adequate solutions to ensure that the remaining risks remain at acceptable levels. Functional safety analysis employs methods like FMEA and FTA, which complement each other in identifying and mitigating failure modes. This lesson discusses all these along with the supplementary activities.
