Calculating Components of Lorentz Force

How do you calculate the components of the Lorentz force?

Assume a distribution of a magnetic field surrounding conductors with applied DC currents. To calculate the components of the Lorentz force, use the following steps in the field calculator:
- Quantity > J
- Quantity > B
- Cross
- Scalar > ScalarX
- Geom > Volume … (specify the volume of interest) OK
- ∫
- Eval
The above example shows the process for calculating the X component of the Lorentz force. Similar steps should be performed for all components of interest.
