Mode Superposition Method

Do you want to capture the frequency response of a system in a limited loading range of frequency but do not want to solve a large, time-consuming dynamic analysis? Mode superposition (MSUP) is computationally less time consuming and finds the response for a given loading by a linear combination/ superimposition of the response of a limited number of mode shapes of the structure. In this course, we will introduce the mode superposition method and see how this concept is used to determine the response of a structure.
