Simulation of a Wilkinson Power Divider — Lesson 6

In this module, the simulation aspects of a Wilkinson power divider is shown. Simple creation of the Wilkinson power divider is completed using a built-in Ansys HFSS 3D Layout example file. The HFSS 3D Layout model is exported as a HFSS mechanical computer-aided design (MCAD) model in a single click to show how easy it is to use the different HFSS user interfaces and have the same solver engine. A lumped RLC boundary is used to define the lumped resistor added to the output arms of the divider to show its effect.
