In this course, you will learn about the Ansys Lumerical FDTD solver region object which is used to specify the simulation time, the simulation region, mesh and boundary conditions.
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
- Describe the main simulation settings that are defined by the FDTD solver region
- Add and set up the basic settings of the FDTD solver region
- Add mesh override regions and check the generated simulation mesh
- Choose appropriate solver region boundary conditions
