Introduction and Motor Specifications

In this course, we are going to learn how to use Ansys Motor-CAD®, a dedicated electric motor design tool for multiphysics simulation to design induction motors using a sensitivity analysis tool in Ansys Motor-CAD without the need for calculations. Usually, calculations starting with a power equation are needed to initialize the design. Here, the proposed method uses a sensitivity analysis tool in Ansys Motor-CAD to compensate for the traditional method. The advantage of that is the reduction of initial assumptions and calculations which results in better usage of Ansys Motor-CAD capabilities to save time and effort.
