How to Do Sketching in Ansys Discovery — Lesson 5

Ansys Discovery features the first simulation-driven design tool in which users can create and modify geometry using direct modeling technology, define simulations and interact with results in real time. To successfully prepare the geometry for performing CFD analysis, it is very important to understand the use and functionality of various geometry design and modification options in Discovery. In this lesson, we will learn how to use Sketch tool in the Design tab in Discovery. We will discuss the various ways to create sketches in both the 2D and 3D modes. We will also briefly discuss how to track and reuse sketch parameters to efficiently use Discovery design resources. Additionally, we will understand how to apply dimensions and constraints to fix the geometry.
