In this lesson the discussion continues on the stability of the time discrete single degree of freedom ODE. In the previous lesson Amplification factor was seen and using this factor the stability criteria is defined. As this is a linear problem the stability criteria is a linear stability condition. Conditional and Unconditional stability cases are explained. It is shown how spatial discretization impacts the system.
