Element Integrals - Lesson 5
The finite-dimensional weak form, instead of being written as an integral over the entire problem domain, can be written as a summation of element integrals. In this lesson, we use basis functions to derive the element integrals. We can then use Gauss quadrature numerical integration to evaluate the numerical values of these element integrals.
