The Constitutive Relation and Boundary Conditions - Lesson 2

This video lesson demonstrates that when an external electric field is applied to a material, any charged atoms in it will align with the field. This response can be modeled using the bulk material parameter called the “relative permittivity,” which can be used to derive the constitutive relations for electrostatic materials.
