It provides a comprehensive understanding of various CAD software available in the market, their unique features, and applications. For instance, the course demonstrates how to create simple designs using Solidworks, including drawing, extruding, and sweeping. It also introduces topology optimization and its application in Ansys software. The course further delves into the concept of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in Metal Additive Manufacturing, discussing different types of NDT methods, their applications, advantages, and disadvantages. For example, it explains how ultrasonic testing is used for detecting internal and surface defects in sound-conducting materials.
