Why does oil float on water?

How many drops of water can we put on top of a coin before it spills? What holds this water on the coin even after all the surface area is covered?

We will learn the definition of a fluid. A fluid is characterized by properties such as density, viscosity, surface tension, and pressure. We will define these properties and study their importance.
