How is heat transfer to the surrounding powder considered in Additive Print?
In Additive Print (AP) and Additive Science (AS), The powder is explicitly included in the thermal simulation domain (at least within an area slightly larger than the bounding box around the part being simulated). There are powder-specific material properties the solver consumes (e.g., conductivity, density, specific heat) as a ratio compared to the bulk solid properties. These parameters are not currently exposed in the UI as they have been tuned to experimental data for the default materials offered.
