Application Engineer II (14145)

  • Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of Digital Mission Engineering and STK to provide highest level technical assistance to customers and channel partners, ensuring high-quality, timely customer service that results in improved customer satisfaction and productivity.
  • Architect and develop holistic system-level solutions and workflows using STK by leveraging technologies and disciplines such as tool integration, model-based systems engineering, simulation process and data management, design exploration and optimization, material data management, and digital mission engineering.
  • Develop competence as a product expert in the Digital Mission Engineering (DME) family of products in the field of multi-domain mission engineering.
  • Own the customer problems, proactively engage with selected accounts to provide comprehensive solutions. Contribute to all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows and articulate Ansys’ value proposition.
  • Design/develop programming user interfaces, automation scripts and integration code in support of customer application.
  • Gather customer requirements to support the improvement of Ansys software and collaborate with the Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product capabilities. Test new releases on industrial problems.
  • Instruct introductory and intermediate training classes and contribute to the delivery of professional services for projects which might include collaborative work with other field engineers in the same or different disciplines.
  • Develop and implement holistic system-level solutions by leveraging technologies and disciplines such as tool integration, model-based systems engineering, simulation process and data management, design exploration and optimization, and digital mission engineering.
  • Participate in internal corporate initiatives to share knowledge and to create best practices, inside the discipline and cross-disciplines.
  • Develop simulation best practices, solutions, FAQs for knowledge base.
  • Operate as part of a dynamic team of global engineers, software developers and business professionals to assist customers in performing analyses, solving problems, and integrating and deploying custom solutions.
  • Work in partnership with the sales teams to strategize and execute sales approaches to maximize sales objectives.
